Look, we see you. You don’t really “get” sports. Maybe you have fond memories of watching football on Sunday afternoons with your uncles as a kid or you liked going to games with your ex because it meant an excuse to buy those nachos with the fake cheese, but on the whole you’re never gonna be someone who looks up player stats (or, for that matter, the rules).

But that doesn’t mean you shouldn’t enjoy the trappings of game day, which are arguably the best thing to come out of the American sports complex since the general concept of high-fiving. We at Silver Spork are big enough fans of salty snacks to see past any petty dislikes, and we also believe that this succulent trail mix is good enough for any activity, not just zoning out on your phone while your entire extended family screams louder than seemed humanly possible at the TV. Better yet, it’s easy, so you can spend as much time as possible playing Destiny with the curtains drawn. So serve up a bowl of this stuff at your next D&D session or alternative poetry reading. Your friends will be impressed, guaranteed.

  • Ahhh trail mix.

I still don’t understand the appeal, to be quite honest. My family staunchly adheres to two football rules: You must root for the Giants and you must consume copious amounts of tortilla chips with four-cheese-bean-and-chili-dip.

But you know what, I might make an exception this time around; we always need a new snack for DnD
