Sugar Cookie Toast Crunch S’mores Bites

55So you’ve just lit a fire in your neglected fireplace that you maybe aren’t even supposed to use, fueled by unpaid cable bills and Christmas cards sent by relatives. You need the perfect snack to go with that feeling, and we’ve got you covered. Enter the Sugar Cookie Toast Crunch S’mores!

I got this recipe from one of my favorite bloggers, Matt, who writes about horror movies, holidays, and dated pop culture references over at Dinosaur Dracula. He specializes in obscure food (which usually means Kool Aid that expired before I was born) and this quick snack involves a limited time only winter cereal called Sugar Cookie Toast Crunch, though we at Silver Spork will settle for regular Cinnamon Toast Crunch in a pinch.

These baby s’mores are great if you like making appetizers for your stuffed animals or if you don’t like knowing exactly how many s’mores you’ve eaten. Matt describes the feeling as “like you invaded a gnome family’s Christmas dinner and ate all of the good stuff despite their protests.” Couldn’t have said it better myself.

Sugar Cookie Toast Crunch S’mores Bites

  • Chocolate Chips
  • Baby Marshmallows
  • Sugar Cookie Toast Crunch Cereal (or Cinnamon Toast Crunch Cereal if you’re desperate)

Melt some chocolate in a microwave or over the stove for dipping. Doesn’t matter how as long as it’s deliciously molten.

Next, dip both ends of a tiny marshmallow into the chocolate and then sandwich the marshmallow between two pieces of Sugar Cookie Toast Crunch cereal before the chocolate drips all over your fingers.

Now rinse and repeat these steps around 40 times or until all your plates are filled with tiny s’mores.

Allow the s’mores to cool and harden, or put them in the fridge to chill them faster. Or just eat them! There’s no wrong way here.
