Discover the NEW Tastes of Fall

Starbucks Fall Drinks

They’ve done it. They’ve launched new fall flavors. Pumpkin Spice is still the rightful monarch of this café kingdom, but your favorite brand is adding some new faces to the royal court, and personally I’m pretty damn excited.

Are you ready? On Wednesday they snuck two new drinks onto the menu in select cites throughout the United States. If you’re in a college town, you’re going to be treated to the delicious Maple Syrup Latte and Spiced Apple Chai Tea Latte, along with the new national flavor, Toasted Graham Latte. Only one flavor will survive the season and become a recurring fall drink alongside our lord and savior, Pumpkin Spice, while the other two will fade into obscurity.

Now here’s the thing; I would never suggest replacing Pumpkin Spice lattes in your daily life. Consider this an augmentation. Monday and Tuesday are firmly in the Pumpkin Spice camp; it’s imperative that you start your day off with this tasty old friend. But Wednesday? Wednesday is a day for experimentation. Wednesday is the day you order the Spiced Apple Chai Tea Latte, topped with whipped cream and a dash of cinnamon. And Thursday? How about the Maple Syrup Latte with a drizzle of organic maple syrup straight from Ontario.

There are even some people out there that don’t enjoy pumpkin spice, and though I try not to acknowledge them it’s important that a national chain offer something for everybody. With these four autumn flavors (Apple, Maple, Graham, and Pumpkin) there’s truly something for everyone. Next time you’re strolling through Central Park on a crisp evening, make sure you’ve got one of these new flavors to keep you warm.

Because remember, they’re only here for a limited time.

During this time you’ll also be able to enjoy a special promotion when you present the above coupon to your barista: $1 off any handcrafted espresso or tea beverage.

Offer expires November 15, 2015.
