S’mores Ya Later
Maybe it’s the chocolate. Maybe it’s the camaraderie of sitting around a campfire. Or maybe it’s just that I like setting things on fire. OK, it’s probably the last one. But honestly, I really just enjoy lighting my food on fire – when the occasion calls for it.
And yeah, I totally wrote my last post about the awesomeness of s’mores. But I’m back with s’mores news (hello puns!) because those chocolate-marshmallow creations are the truest delight in this world.
But this time, I’m giving you a little twist on the traditional graham-cracker format. For today, I’m sharing the tasty concoction known as: s’more dip.
I’m sure you’ve seen this on Pinterest, or some type of listicle about amazing foods. And while I can’t take credit for its creation (or actually cooking this, since it was my BFF who saw it, wanted it, baked it, and graciously shared it with me), I can share it with you.
Baked S’mores Dip
1 bag of chocolate chips
1 bag of regular sized marshmallows
(1 box) graham crackers
Preheat oven to 450°
In a baking dish (we used a glass one), place chocolate in an even layer. Put the marshmallows over the chocolate in an even layer
Bake for about 4-5 minutes, until marshmallows are browned and chocolate melts
Let it “cool” for about 5 minutes before eating
Take out graham crackers and dip away!
